Frontpage themes

Perry

Is it possible to use parts of themes but not others? I like the "artsy"
background but dislike the navigation buttons and banner area. Can I just
use the background and make my own side areas??

Yes, you would modify the theme, then save under a new name, remove the current theme and then apply
your newly modified theme.
