Frontpage Security

I want to create a password protected website but can't
access the security option under the tools menu. It is in
grey and I can't select it. Help

As far as I know you have to be working on your
site 'live' on your ISP's server for this feature to be
active and not on your hard drive web copy which I suspect
you are doing.
