FrontPage Save Results Component

Hi All!
I am using frontpage 2002 with all of the updates and have now
started to create my first web page. I am having a problem with the
screens generating this error when you try to view my pages....

"FrontPage Save Results Component"

This text is displayed on my web pages and it is getting generated
automatically. Can I ask what is doing this and how do I fix this?

Thanks all!

Dwayne

Are you using an input form on the page?? If so, FrontPage is telling you that you need to publish
the web to a server that has FrontPage extensions installed before the form will work properly.

Hi There!
Thanks for the reply.
No; I am not using any type of forms at all. Actually quite a
simple page.

Thanks

Hi Andrew;
The server extensions are installed on the main page. I can even
verify this with my server provider. Any other idea's?

Thanks

This "FrontPage Save Results Component" would only show up on a form, guest book or discussion web,
where you have selected to have the data stored in file or sent as any email.

You can not test the form on your local PC, it must be publish using File Menu | Publish Web command
via FP's http mode.

If you don't need a form or don't think you have one, open the page with the message and switch to
HTML View and do a search for "<form" without the quotes.
