Frontpage photo gallery freezes

When I edit the text and click OK in the photo gallery properties box the
program freezes up and I need to use control alt delete to exit the program.
I tried reinstalling it which didn't help. I noticed that there were serveral
new Microsoft security updates with the frontpage logo when I did the
uninstall which I think may be the cause. I have never had a problem with the
program before.

Any idea why it's freezing up? I have XP.
 
Anybody? I am looking into different galleries to use instead, but if this is
fixable I'd rather do that. I have tried in the past to use a different
gallery, but found it too difficult to get the code to work. All I'd like to
do is update my site.

Every time I've seen advice here about photo albums, it was to NOT use the one in FP.
