If you are running FP 2002 or MS Office 2002, definitely install the all the SP
- Reinstalling won't do anything w/o the SP
- Don't Reinstall
If you are running a server (as a host or locally under Windows) also install the FP SE SP

| Good Morning Tom & Stefan:
| Thanks again for your replies, they’re appreciated.
| I would ask your council once again on the following specific
| questions:
| "the extensions on your local computer must also be updated
| with the appropriate patches and updates."
| For info in Service Pack 1 & 2 for FP2002 / MSO XP - see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];Q325671
| I reviewed the Service Pack breakdown, and at first read, it would
| appear that the only FP "patch" applied is one for language… quite
| frankly, I’m leery applying the Pack as advertised. It appears to
| "fix" a lot of things that (in my case) aren’t broken.
| I previously asked:
| Does the problem, as I've described, sound like it can be repaired,
| short of a re-installation? And if re-installation is the way to go,
| why would anyone hesitate to pursue this course of action. What
| consequences, if any could one encounter?
| The request is simple, I just want it fixed, as quickly and painlessly
| as possible.
| Q: Do I or don’t I re-install?
| Thank You
| Tom G, Sr.
