Hi.
I am trying to open a word template in FrontPage and get it to allow the
check boxes to work, etc.
It won't, so I would like it to open a session of Microsoft word so people
can work in the program itself.
Can anyone tell me how I can do that?
All tips would be helpful.

MS word is not an HTML editor (yes I know there is Save as HTML) but have you
ever seen that HTML?

Is this going to be a Word doc on the server? If so, placing a link to the
doc will allow the user to download the Word doc file but they won't be able
to save it on the server due to security reasons.

It sounds like you really need to either have the people download the Word
Doc file or re-create the form in HTML

Currently I am setting it up that when they click on the big X on the screen
it loads an automated, protected document.
However, it is loaded to a intranet that everyone in the plant can access.
Any suggestions how to fix/change this?

Have you tried to protect the document in Word (with a password) and then providing the password only to authorized users
