FrontPage has become totally unstable

For some unknown reason, FrontPage 2003 has become totally unstable. I have
even tried uninstalling completely and reinstalling it and still have the
same problems. I'm not sure if it's because of the latest ATI graphic drivers
or something far worse. I've tried rolling back the drivers with no change in
the behavior so the new ones are installed again.

Some of them are: disappearing graphics and navigation; Under the File menu
it won't go where it should if you click on a site in Recent sites or a page
in Recent pages - ALWAYS goes to the My Web SItes directory instead; Shared
borders show sometimes and sometimes they don't even though all the sites
have a theme and shared borders (Top/Left/Bottom) applied to them. There are
other problems as well but you get the idea. This all just started happening
recently.

I'm wondering if there is some sort of vulnerability that has allowed access
to the FrontPage settings since I have been under a constant barrage of port
scans lately. Personally I think the problem lies in the registry someplace.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

System SPecs:
P4 - 2.26GHz
1 GB DDR Ram
160 GB HD
ATI Radeon 9550 (AGP)

Expression Web Designer and SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that:
Clear The Hidden Temporary files.
Clear The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.
Restore Default Toolbars and Menus.

See if it helps.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, it didn't help. I ran all the options and
everything is still acting stupid (for lack of a better term). Of course,
there seems to be a lot of strange behavior on this machine lately.

Things like system tray icons that should be there but aren't even though
the program they are for is running according to the task manager... the
mysterious problems with FrontPage... a constant barrage of port scans
attempting to connect to my computer even though it shouldn't be happening
considering I'm on Road Runner...

Add to the fact that now the Vista Beta team wants us testers to install
Beta 2 as an XP upgrade... as an MVP would you install software that you know
isn't compatable with your security software considering the portal assaults
I'm experiencing on a daily basis - almost hourly in fact?
