I have just built a FrontPage from for my website. I have managed to
receive the results by email but I would like to find a way that I can
have a confirmation email sent to the form user that informs them that
their email has been received. Is this possible in FrontPage?

Thanks for your help. fixler.

This is not possible when using the FP Form Handler unless your web host provide you with access to
a autoresponder that has been configured by them to process email from the FP Form Handler.

Ask your web host if they offer an auto responder feature. You could set
that up to send a preset response to the email

My provider does offer an auto responder in email. However, how would
this work for the users email?

It would send a preset response to each user that submitted a form to the email address that you
have setup the auto responder on.

The only problem, is that the email that it is sent by is the one set
by my host. It is not that of the user filling out the form on my
website. Can I set this to happen...I didn't think so?

Thanks, fixler

You would create a preset message that would be sent to every user completing a form on your site.

The auto responder must be configured by your web host to work with the FP Form Handler. Unless the
host configure it, you will not be able to use it with the FP Form Handler.
