Probably a stupid question but no one seems to know...
I have made a simple webpage from an FP template with no
modification and try to load that to my web-host but
receive the message that FrontPage extensions are not
installed on the server. The hosting company claim that
is not the case and I have by now tried two different
vendors with the same result
It seems definitely to be related to discussion databases
as if those are removed everything works fine. I receive
also the same message when trying to use FP <Publish>
command. Check out my problem here:

Anyone who has encountered this before??

would probably go away if you use extensions that match your version of
FrontPage or if you move to a windows server. if you've got an access type
db I don't think it'll run on a non-windows server.

I'm receiving this same error when trying to use the FP
Guestbook. I've transfered the files to my ISP (who uses
the FP extensions and I've got all of the files on the
windows server at my workplace that has all the relevent
extensions installed and still receiving the error.

I'm new to creating a web site so I must be missing
something. Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like you may be "transferring" your "files" in the wrong manner. What
you need to do is to open your local web (not page), and PUBLISH it to the
remote server.
