I tried opening an excel file and receive a dialog box stating I need to
insert the Office XP Professional with FrontPage CD? What is this? I don't
have this CD.

What are you trying to open the Excel file with??

I'm just opening an excel file that's on my desktop. When I double click on
it, I get a dialog box showing a Windows Installer. It then gives me the
frontpage message. This all just started happening 2 days ago!

You need to re-install Excel

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

Open Excel or FP and run Help Detect & Repair
- or reinstall Office and FP from the CDs you do have (in the sequence of versions you have)

Yes, you need the Office disk handy - it tells you this - on the Office
Update site.
It might be necessary that it needs files from the Installation CD.

Thanks, Andrew. Where would you recommend I purchase the Microsoft Office XP
Professional with Frontpage?
