I have Frontpage 2003 on my work laptop, also 2000 on another PC-Home. When
accessing server via Frontpage, I get the error message: "The folder "http://
" isn't accessible. The folder may be located in an unavailable location,
protected with a password, or a filename contains a / or \." I am the server
admin of this server, so know that logins are OK. I had frontpage 2000
working fine, and had to have my work laptop reimaged, so had to download new
frontpage. I have read numerous ways of fixing it, including going into
registry & etc. Problem I have is this work laptop it is admin protected and
software can be loaded (Dr. Install & etc) but it will not allow registry to
be changed. On other PC (home). Any suggestions???

Most likely the laptop is set up as a domain member and the home computer is
not trusted in that domain. Without some help from the people on the domain
(work), it is hard to circumvent the security functions of Windows. If you
can get to the files and cannot get help, I would consider moving the files
over to the home machine, edit and then put back. Not an optimal solution,
but it works.

Apologies for being vague, but there is not a lot of info in the post to
nail down the problem specifically. I would also look at the Windows groups
or FrontPage extension group for a solution.
