I have IE 6. Recently the Frontpage icon went grey. I took the advice of
earlier posts for that problem (deleted temp files, including offline). But
now, even if I select Frontpage as my editor, it displays the Notepad icon
and it is greyed out. I can open and publish from Frontpage, but can not
edit my site via IE 6.

Hi,

The default HTML editor is set here in the registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Default HTML
Editor\shell\edit\command

Click Start/Run and type Regedit.

BTW, where exactly is icon grayed out? (IE toolbar?)
