Hi,

I have a new laptop loaded with Windows Vista. So far the only real problem
I have is that I can't get FrontPage loaded onto this machine. I have an
original FP 98 disk, and a 2003 upgrade. The 98 disk won't load, and of
course without 98 loaded, i can't load the upgrade.

Am I scr3wed? :)

Thanks!

You can begin installing the 2003 upgrade. When it asks for a qualifying
version, remove the disk and insert th4e FP 98 disk and follow the
prompts..FP 98 doesn't need to be installed first.

Usually when you install an upgrade and it doesn't see an earlier
version already installed it will simply ask you to put the early
version in the drive, check it, and then continue.

Don't load FP98.

Start installing FrontPage 2003. When it asks for the qualifying
program, swap the CD for the FrontPage 98 CD, and browse to it in the
dialogue. Then swap the CDs again after the installation resumes. FP98
does not need to be installed - you have to show that you have the disc.

Well, I apologize, but for some reason I can't read anyone's replies. Thanks
for something ELSE that doesn't work, Microsoft! :( Will try on a different
machine...

Thanks a million! It worked!! :)
