Simple question: I could not find this answer in the
entire Microdoft web site.
Microsoft 2003: Is it released and available for sale?
 
It was released to Manufacturing (see Jim, I used your term!) yesterday. It
should be available for sale within a month or so. Just check the
microsoft.com site periodically for updates.

Should be around October if rumors are correct. Microsoft partners and MSDN
subscribers will likely have a couple of week leeway (maybe September).

There is not an officially released date right now (that I know of), so
these are just guesses. Based on the open beta progress, I would bet I am
within a few weeks.
