Hello, I had to get a new computer as old one crashed. All Frontpage files
are on old computer. I installed on new computer but I do not know how to
access frontpage that already exists. I can't change or access my website
that I already have published. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks very much.

You need to launch Frontpage first and then do the following:

File, Import

In the next dialogue box select http: and enter your site's full domain
address. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Hope this helps.

It is one of the methods especially for someone who said "I installed on
new computer but I do not know how to access frontpage that already
exists" now from this it is quite clear that the individual is not
likely to have "shared borders, FrontPage navigation components,
databases" Import will certainly get what he/she can see in the browser
and this would solve her/his immediate problem.

hope this helps.

A user who says "I installed on new computer but I do not know how to access
frontpage that already exists" is most likely the user who does have shared
borders and frontpage navigation. Import does also miss include files,
DWTs, databases that the more experienced user might have.

Hello & thank you for the posts.
I tried the suggestions & did get the website to import but it will not
allow me to re-publish it. I have the website through a webhosting server
that I will no longer be using. I have re-installed my frontpage program on
my new computer using the original cd. I can't access the old computer as it
is dead. How can I delete that old website? If I create a new website will it
over-ride the old one. I have a new webhosting server.
Thank you for your help,
Amber

Just publish to your new host, then tell your old host to delete the old web
(they'd probably do this anyway once you cancel with them) - just make sure
everything is working on the new host first. Because as Ronx
said...Importing does not always get it all.

The files will be in conflict until you do a full publish (all files) in one
direction or the other. This synchronises the websites. After the full
publish changed pages only should be OK. I never use synchronise, so cannot
comment.
