I uninstalled FP2003 from my C drive with the intent on installing it on my F
drive (larger hard drive). When I go to reinstall FP2003 from my licensed
disc, I get a dialogue box that states:

"The System Adminstrator has set policies against this installation".

Please advise on how to proceed.

I am guessing here but I believe it means you have to log on as an
administrator user in your Windows system (the version/edition of which you
haven't mentioned.....).

The most recent Windows O/S's (XP/Vista) don't allow standard users to
install software, and you have to have administrator priviledges, or else
there's some policy in place (as the error states) preventing it.

Have you been able to install other programs successfully? How long has
this problem been going on, roughly?

Is your operating system XP or Vista?

Other sources to ask about this problem include the following newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general and
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general

This is more a Windows issue, than about Frontpage issue, and would probably
affect *any* software you install.

I should mentioned that this error doesn't suggest Fp2003 won't run in Vista
if that's your OS; this is an entirely different issue. FP2003 should run
well in Vista.
