I am having a similar problem, starting today. Everytime I use the drop down
menu under file, like file - open, it freezes. I can work around it to a
certain extent but it creates alot of extra work.
I have used the reinstall - repair option on the cd, uninstalled the entire
program and reinstalled it, and then downloaded all the updates for microsoft
as recommended. I did see a thread on updating my video drivers, so I did all
the custom installs too for my computer.
Now it appears that maybe my diligence in staying up to date has sabotaged me?
What can be done?
What else can I do?
Reinitialize my computer?
That seems excessive but I work with this program and need to use it
regularly!
Any suggestions are appreciated!
