Our office has a peer-to-peer network, with the "clients" as WinXP-SP2 and
the "server" as Win98SE. The server has the hosted websites for internal
development, and the clients work on the sites over the LAN. After upgrading
to SP2, FrontPage 2003 does not allow a webpage to be "Save As" or renamed
remotely. It gives an error message that the folder is not available, is
password protected, is unavailable, or contains an illegal character in the
filename - none of which is true. BTW, this is true of ALL Office 2003 apps
working over the LAN, but not true with non-MS apps.
This is obstructing smooth workflow, and I welcome any advice or if anyone
else has had a similar problem.
