FrontPage 2002 Link bars duplicate X8

I bought 2002 FrontPage upgrade and have been having
problems with the (navigation) link bars duplicating X8
after I save it. This does not show in FrontPage program
but shows up when I check the files in C://.
Any edit on any page will trigger 9 shared boarders with
the navigation links. I then have to edit them out in
notepad before FTP is done. The website publishes OK.

I took this software back and exchanged it but the new one
does the same thing! I tried starting from scratch as
well with new shared boarder and got the same X8
extra!! Got any advice?

There are some bugs in FP2002 & the FP2002 SE so make sure you also see & apply all appropriate patches from:

Thank you Kathleen. I neglected to tell you that I'm
working on a PC with Windows Me. Should I try the Office
XP Seervice Pack 1 & 2?
