When creating separate mde files for users of a secure database, does it make
a difference in performance if the mde's are on a shared drive vs. their own
hard drive? It would be easier to put them all in one folder because there
will occasionally be updates needed. But if this will affect performance, I
will help them save it to their hard drive and set up their shortcuts.

Thanks,
Mary

It makes a difference, as I mentioned when I responded to your earlier post.

It would not be wise to put them "all in one folder."
