I recently installed the 2003 Upgrade. Now, when I import a pdf file or word
document and create a hyperlink, it will not open in preview or when
published.

It opens fine for me.

Works fine for me although having spaces and single quotes in the file name
could be causing issues.

2007BowlSwami's Baker's Dozen.pdf

Well, thank you. I will check to see if others can open hyperlinks now.
However, I have tried to open it, and I still cannot open it. Neither my use
of Internet Exporer or via my aol will open it.
I first discovered someone had a problem when I had spaces in the file name
and %20 appeared for every space. I removed those. I will try removing the
apostrophes.

Glad to help. As a practice you should never use spaces or special
characters in file or folder names.
