Front page upload error message

i receive the message
553 home page.htm: Permission denied. (Filename (accept))
and cannot see why my site will not upload

Is the file actually named: home page.htm
and is it actually your home page?
If so, rename it to index.html and let FrontPage update hyperlinks when prompted.

Then try to publish again.

The error may be because you have a space in the name - some servers do
not allow spaces in file names, and some browsers break links to pages
with spaces anyway.
As Steve said, if home page.htm is your home page, then rename it to the
name required by your server, usually index.html or index.htm - your
host will advise on this.
