When I put a text box in my form in Front Page it erases the form. How do I
put text boxes in the form to get a response from my vistitors at my website?

Thank You

You don't. Use an input field.

"Text box" as in the drawing-tool text box or text box as in the form
element TextArea?

Hi,

Thank you so much for your response. I am teaching myself FrontPage and
this is my first website. How do I add an input box? I searched help in
FrontPage but I still don't get it. I am a computer teacher so I can figure
most things out if I just know where to look! lol It may help to know that I
am using a speadsheet to collect data from my website from my visitors.
Should I be using a form? I used a spreadsheet because 1. that was what I
was used to and 2. I needed the calculation function. Thank you for your
help.

The form element. Plus I realized that I may be looking at the wrong
instructions. (I am new to this. I am using a spreadsheet) I want to
collect feedback from by website visitors.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Rita,

To start your form go to Insert >> Form >> Form

Then hit Enter a time or two for working room

To add a Textbox ... Insert >> Form >> One Line Textbox

If you are talking about a comments area, this would be Scrolling Text Box

If you need more help getting started with FP forms, stop by my site.

Using a Spreadsheet? Shouldn't you be using Frontpage if your question is
about Frontpage?
