some of my subfolders are not accessible when trying to hyperlink. How do I
extract these folders

You can't link to a folder.
Double click on the folder to open it then link to the file you want.

I have tried that and it does not work from the webpage. The folders are
viewable on the folder list side, but trying to link from through the
hyperlink icon, it does not find some subfolders.

What subfolders are you talking about.

Not sure what you're saying.
Do the subfolders exist within the web/site?
Are you talking about a subweb/subsite?

Have you tried clicking the "up one level" yellow folder with the green
arrow on the pop up toolbar??
