Front page server extension error

I am getting the error in event viewer in application log

Microsoft front page server extension error#20005 cannot
create xls file.

My intranet is running on the windows 2000 adv server.

pls help me

FP doesn't have the ability to create .xls file. If you having the form data
writing to a file, name the file with .txt extension.

thanks for the reply

prev it was working perfectly there is no issues
but suddenly it giving me errors in event logs
