Hi!

My harddrive died and was replaced. I was able to recover all of my data
from back ups.

Front Page, though, does not allow multiple installations. How do I reclaim
the installation that was lost on the bad hard drive?

Thanks,

Bob

Use the telephone option for activation.

There should be an option to activate FrontPage via Phone. Use that instead
of Internet

Thanks for the quick response! I headed that direction and hit another
roadblock.
:(

At the same time I got the new harddrive, our Help Desk also updated my
operating system and office so that now I cannot use my upgrade version of
FrontPage!
:)

Maybe it's time for me to move into the new technology and this is my sign!
:)

I do very basic and simple web sites. FrontPage met my needs. I need a
product that will let me do the basics and grow into more skills. As I read
about Office SharePoint Designer 2007 and Expression Web, I think Expression
Web is the tool I need.

I do not think I have a Share Point environment to work in on my home desk
top. By my questions, you can probably tell I'm just getting into this whole
area - My first 30 years in IT have been in the mainframe world. :)

Would you agree Expression Web would be an approprite replacement of
FrontPage for me?

Thanks!

Bob

If you have the old Office CD you can still use your upgrade copy. When you
install FrontPage it will look for a qualifying product. Just put in the
Office CD that qualifies for the upgrade (you don't need to install it on
your PC) and FP will see it and install.
