I have two computers that are connected by a crossover
cable. a personal web server on one and FrontPage on the
other. the personal web server is supposed to allow me to
see if all options on frontpage work as if i was online. i
have done everything humanly possible to ensure that it
works correctly: set up the latest frontpage extentions,
re-installed my personal web manager and checked for all
errors.
now, publishing the webpage to the personal web server is
no problem. i see all the simple graphics and text. but
when i put an auto-counter and information form on the
webpage, it wont allow me to see the progress. it wont
activate the web counter or send the information from the
form to where i want it to go. But that is exactly what it
is supposed to do.
i get this message :
FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page
that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server
Extensions to function properly.
This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly
if you publish this web to a web server that has the
FrontPage Server Extensions installed.
Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page.
i would appreciate any help.
thanks
