I'm trying to update an existing site I have. When I preview it in a browser
and click on the home button, it's not finding the index page. It's looking
for it outside my web name. Does anybody know why this is happening? All the
other pages link together.

Thank you!

Whats the URL for the site.

Hey brian - ure using FrontPage, right? In that case go to the
"hyperlinks" view and make sure it 'sees' the link to ure home. If not
then just relink it and it should work...

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it! I looked at the hyperlink and it does
show a link to the welcome page, but it shows it on both sides of the big
blue "e". I've not seen it do that before, it's usually only on the right
side.

Did you create the new page with your Web/Site opened in FP?..so the new
page should be IN the web/site and not a loose page somewhere else.

Does it work when you; File | Preview In Browser?

| It's www.the-moondogs.net. What you see will be working though. I have not
| uploaded the changes yet because of this problem.
|
| Thanks!

When I click on the "Home" button, it takes me to "H:\My Documents\My
Webs\index.htm", but the location of the index page is "H:\My Documents\My
Webs\The Moondogs\index.htm." It's not looking in "The Moondogs" file. On the
navigation stucture, everything looks right. This is very puzzling!

"H:\My Documents\My Webs\index.htm"
would indicate the page is a "loose" page, ie; not located within your
web/site

But it sounds like you've fixed it.
