Hello, I need help to understand Front Page 2000.
I'm using the theme "NATURE" and have clicked on "tables" to divide the
page into three parts consisting of two columns about 20% each and a
middlecolumn for the resting 60%.
After having edit all text into the large column I CAN'T GET THE CURSOR TO
HIT THE TWO OTHER COLUMNS. WHEN TRYING TO GET INTO THESE SMALLER COLUMNS I'M
MARKING THE TEXT IN THE LARGE ONE.
Curious, isn't it?
ALL POSSIBLE HELP IS VERY WELCOME!!!!!!

Hi Computernovice,

Have you tried hitting the tab key to move from cell to cell?

Hi Theresa and thank You for Your advice. Unfortunately I had tried that
solution and it didn't work.

Everyone makes the columns equal 33% then formats each one the percent /
size it should be. After you try that with a new page what happens? The
fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his
absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay
the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a
great power among men.

Switch to code view and find the <td></td> tags for the left and right cells.
Add some text between them like this: <td>test</td>
and then switch to design view.

FrontPage "normally" creates a space &nbsp; in each cell so you can click inside it.

Thank You once again Theresa, but I've tried that one too.
I've learned from a Mr. Easton to go to the HTML-script and write something
- whatever - between the two tags <td></td> and that solved my problem
completely.
You are always welcome to assist when I'll need help next time.
Be sure - I'll will.
have a nice weekend and a ditto summer!

LOL Glad I could help.
Genius is a bit of a stretch. I just happened to see your post between the 2nd and 3rd cups of
coffee.
On a Friday, things go downhill really fast after that.
