Well, I don't know if it's a front ear mike, or just an ear mike, but it's
coming from the front panel button. This front panel button is more like a
front panel presser is about the size of a rally button for the president.
This is a thick black cable that's connected to the front president button
pusher. There are 2 options or connections, one says AZALIA, and the other
says AC'97. There is only one spot on the motherboard, near the back panel
connectors, that it can plug into, and it's called F_Audio and it's a green
connector, 9 prongs with one open spot.
Do I need to use this plug or should I ignore it and tie off this cable? If
I need to use this plug then which one should I use, the AZALIA or the AC'97?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, attilathehun1

The Azalia cable and connector would be the best choice, for F_Audio. Jack
detection should work and everything.

The reason for the nine pins on the F_AUDIO header, is the missing pin is
for keying. That is to help you line up pin 1 with pin 1.
