Hi, I hope someone can help me with this problem. Well I figured out that the Front Assembly Input/Output and Control Panel part had went bad so I ordered the part and installed it and the pc came on and worked fine for a few weeks. Now it is my sons pc and he plugs his headphone into the front panel when he plays games. So here we are again the panel started flashing its lights and the pc will not come on.So I ordered a new panel and it is doing the same thing. What I would like to know is what could be causing this or could it be another part causing this problem.
Thanks In Advance for any Help,
Karen G.

On the front of the computer, are four diagnostic lights.

The diagnostic light combinations are documented here. 11 of 16 codes
are documented, meaning if you see an undocumented one, then it may not
have been intentionally generated by the BIOS POST code. Tech support
will have all the answers.

If a diagnostic code is being delivered, or a beep code to the internal
case speaker, it could mean a motherboard, RAM, video, or hard drive
problem, just to name a few.

Record the LED pattern lighted, and check the table.

The panel assembly itself may not have a lot of smarts on it, so
the problem is likely elsewhere in the computer.

Good luck,
Paul
