From RAID-1 to non-RAID

I'm currently using Windows XP, having 2 HDD, and running RAID-1.

Recently I don't want to use RAID anymore.
I don't want 2 HHD to have exactly the same data, it's not cost
effective for me. I rather to have 120 GB than have 60 GB.

I want to use it like normal master and slave.
Can I know how should I change it?
Any configuration or settings for it?

Thanks for helping.

You could change the RAID to striping which will appear as a single 120GB disk.

There may be a piece of software that came with your RAID controller which will
allow you to convert.

How is the RAID 1 setup now? Do you have mobo RAID, a RAID card or are you
using XP's intrinsic mirroring(RAID 1) using dynamic disks?

In general the process is simple and involves breaking the mirror and
assigning the 2nd disk to be used as a standalone drive. The details depend
on the answers to the above questions.

That reduces reliability and might not be what he wants.
