Hi,

My system is running XP-pro on c:\, and win98 on E:\
Both partitions are FAT32. I want to convert c:\ to NTFS, but:
What does this mean for my bootsector, and the menu XP created for the
multiboot?

Hi,

It means that you will no longer be able to boot Win98. Win98 *must* load
from a fat/fat32 partition. If you convert the partition containing the boot
files (which is probably C:\), then you will no longer be able to boot Win98
from it.

A possible workaround for you would be to get a third-party boot manager.
