I just did a fresh installed of Windows XP SP1 home edition on my other computer. Before I did the fresh installed, i went to windows update and i found 35 critical and securtiy update that i have installed on the computer through the automatic update. Now that i have made a clean install of windows xp, i know i have to install all the critical updates again. i have saved the list of critical and security update that was installed before i did a fresh install of windows.
I am currently using my other computer right now. i went on to the windows update catalog, and using the list of critical update, i want to download them so that i can installed them on my fresh installed computer because i don't want to connect to the internet without any critical update that protects my computer from the worms and viruses out there. i have added all the 35 critical updates to the download basket and it is 50 MB. this is going to take a very very long time to download since i am using dial-up and am connected at the maximum speed of 30Kbps. Can anyone tell me which critical update is the one that is needed the most first inorder to protect from all the worms and viruses out there?
