frequent shutdown

I installed Medal of Honor:Allied Assualt. When i try to
play the game my computer always shuts down. I have done
all the msblaster checks and remover and norton antivirus
has not found any viruses on my computer. Why is it
shutting down?

Hi Kory,

If by shutting down, you mean that it restarts then read on. ;-)

Your system is most likely restarting as a result of a STOP error.
To stop this behavior and to analyse the error, try the steps in
this article: http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/windowsxp/bsod.htm

If the error indicates a file name that begins with ati, or nv (nVidia)
the most likely solution would be to install the latest drivers using
the instructions at: http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits/Video.html#drivers
