Frequent programs list on start menu

I reviewed XP help files and I gather the list of programs listed above the
START button is termed a frequently used programs list. This is below the
line that is under the Pinned Items list. I once right-clicked and removed
a CorelDRAW program from the frequent list and now I would like it added
back to the list but despite using it frequently, it does not seem to want
to reappear on that list. Is there a way I can manually add it? I could
not "paste" it to the list.

Sounds like the count rating on the other programs on the list is higher
than your CorelDRAW. One thing you can do is just clear the list and let it
rebuild itself. Also make sure you DON'T have this registry entry
