Frequent program errors

Im getting errors running games all the time and oddly
enough at specific points eg when i open a door to bob'
house i get th error restart my comp it happens again at
the same spot ive checked with the game makers and theres
know sign of any relevence there thusim forced to assume
that it is a win 2000 proplem any help would be great
