FREQUENT 'FAILED TO GET DATA FOR AD' WINDOWS

Hello. I need the help of an expert!! I keep getting
a 'failed to get data for 'ad'.' window appearing. 50,
60, 70 times a day! I can only get online by clicking on
my 'online services' icon & using 'favorites.' If I try
to get online through my explorer, I receive a 'microsoft
error report' window and end up not being able to
continue. This also occurs if I try to go to my yahoo!
mail. I can only use the 'online services' to move
around. Even if I click on a link, I have the same
problem. How do I remove this problem??? Any help would
be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
 
This problem is due to spywares:

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
