Since I installed Norton Internet Security 2005 I get frequent e-mail server
unavailable errors that do not seem to be provider related. The only way to
clear the error and get e-mail working again is to delete the e-mail account,
reboot, and reinstall the e-mail account. It will work for a couple of days
and then the same thing happens all over again. Niether the Norton or MS
support sites have much in the way of help.
