Frequent disconnects

I am not even sure if I am asking the right newsgroup
this question. The past 3 weeks we have been getting
automatically disconnected numerous times whenever we log
on to earthlink. This can happen up to 4 times in the
first 15 minutes we are logged on. It is very frustrating.

In addition to trying another number, you might also try making sure your
antivirus software is up to date and run a full scan of your system as this
is a symptom of some viruses.
