Could be you need a new keyboard. Yours is stuck in all caps. Must be
a real pain when trying to write letters.

All caps = screaming. Stop SCREAMING! You're the one asking for help.
We're all volunteers here. Screaming means you get tuned out. Here's
tuning you out ...... pfffft.

I am suspecting that your system resources are low. I am a new user to
Windows XP and I am not sure if you can check on system resources as you can
with Windows 98 which I am use to. Do you have Norton Internet Security? I
use to to have it on Windows 98 and it was a nightmare for me because my
computer system resources were constantly being used up causing these freeze
ups. It is why I changed to Windows XP and why I won't use Norton. Consider
asking your computer repair technician (if you have one) if Norton is really
good for your machine or not

No, you can't check on System Resources, because they don't exist in WIndows
XP. The term "System Resources," in Windows 9x and Me, referred to a
particular data structure that doesn't exist in Windows XP.

That's one of XP's many improvements over 9X. There are no System Resources
to run out of or to be concerned with.

Hi Vanguard - Could be that YOU missed the fact that lukie asked for help
under the general topic of 'New Users'. And maybe ... just maybe ... lukie
might also be new to the 'rules of the road' regarding 'all caps'. By
assuming that lukie was just being rude rather than unaware, you failed to
offer that same benefit of the doubt that you assuredly DEMAND for yourself
from others. You - a self-professed volunteer - chose to belittle yourself
with the curtness of your pfffft instead of taking the opportunity to display
your generousity by not only answering lukie's question, but by offering a
pinch of keyboard etiquette as a bonus. For shame, sir ... you are indeed a
disappointment.
