Freezing

I have Windows XP and it works fine except when I'm
watching a video or playing games it will freeze. It
freezes at random anywhere from one minute to ten minutes
into a game or video or song playlist. Does anyone know
why its freezing? I recently installed an 80GB hardrive
and upgraded the RAM from 256 to 512 and it still
freezes. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Monitor the CPU temp, switch or reseat your ram. Video and games run the cpu
much hotter and then it freeze. Bad ram will do the same. Try one ram module
at a time. Reseat all cables.
