freezing

IE keeps freezes up on me 8-10 times a day. Have to close it out and then
reopen. Is there a listing of items I can check to see what might be causing
this? It doesn't appear to have any one connecting cause, but then again I'm
not sure exactly what things to look for. TIA.

Windows version? IE version? What are you doing when IE "freezes"?

Window XP. IE 6.0 sp2. Freezes when clicking on link to a website, change a
page on a site, bring up a photo, pretty much anything.

Hello,

Try running it with add-ons disabled. Start Internet Explorer as normal,
Tools, Manage Add-ons, Enable or Disable Add-ons.

Disable all the add-ons and enable them one by one till the problem appears
and you get the culprit.

(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
