Can anyone suggest where I should look for a solution.
The computer works perfectly as long as it is in
continuous use - but leave it for 15 min without use the
thing freezes and has to be re booted. It's as if after
15 min of 'non use' it goes looking for a power save and
when it cant find any it crashes. I've disabled all the
power saves I can find but still it goes 'phut' !!!??
If in continuous use it works away forever

Hello Ian,

If you have disabled all the Power Management options in the Control panel
including disabling Hibernation and disabling the Screensaver, then it is
likely a BIOS setting or hardware problem. Call the Motherboard
manufacturer and see if you can disable any Power Management there. If it
is not a MB setting, then check with the computer manufacturer about
testing the other hardware such as RAM, Video Card and Sound Card.

Best regards,
