Freezing when saving file

When saving a file, the second I click the arrow on the drop down window in "Save as", the process freezes for aprox 60 seconds before the window drops. The same thing happens every time. A quick Google result found opinions that claim that MS security update KB908531 could be the culprit and should be removed but I do not see that specific update in the list of updates. Any ideas ? Perhaps the update is there but I didn't see it. Can my box search for it ?

Are you running Windows 7
