freezing of Windows 2000

Recently, Windows 2000 had frozen on random occasions.
There is no pattern to the freeze. I have the SP4 update,
and am running Office 2000 and Norton AV also. Don't know
if there is some conflict.
 
I am running NAV and Office 2k as well with SP4 and have
not experienced any problems. It seems that some PC's are
just not getting along with SP4. You might try
uninstalling SP4 and just do SP3 with updates.
