Freezes

My computer freezes some what often and I think it's from my graphics card. The screen will go blank and sometimes music will still play that was already playing but you still can't do anything. Some times the computer will completely restart itself and say that it's from the graphics card's driver. I've tried updating it over and over again but it still does it. It doesn't always say it was from it though so I'm not sure. Do I need to reinstall the driver or something similar?
 
u r not specific with what type of problem u have, what is
the error message, and what does ur graphics card says,

ur screen may go blank because u have the sleep mode or
stand by mode.

post the error message here, we are not seers to know
everything about ur propblem only if u say, graphic card
is victim and stuff

Sorry about that. There is error message most of the time, because when the screen goes blank, it won't come out and I have to reset my computer. The only lead I have is that every now and then after I reset my computer, an error message says that the system crashed possibly because of the graphics driver. My graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce, and again, there are no more updates for me to install for it, but Windows sends me to get the latest one anyway. It would be hard for me to get the exact error message because it happens at completely random times. Some times it won't happen for days, but then it will come back and start doing it every hour sometimes. Thank you for trying to help me, I hope this will be of more help now.
