Every time I try to import my saved videos, which are mpegs, the program
freezes up and I have to shut it down. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Maybe it's because they are mpegs...
try converting them to a different format
before importing. Have a look at the
following article:

Hey John,

Thanks for the info. I converted the video to AVI format but I still had the
same problem. It seems like somethings wrong with the MM program but there's
no way to redownload it that I can see. When I go to the microsoft website
all I get are that I can auto-update to get MM2 and I'm already on auto
update. So when I try a manual update nothing is available.

I don't even get an error message. When I try to import what happens is that
the import box appears and then it goes green through the first import cycle
but the bottom one just stays empty. It's then one of those things where I
can move that box around but it erases the program underneath so it's some
type of crash. No error message and cancel doesn't work. The only way to get
out is to cntl alt del and shut down MM.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks,

Scott
