freeze up

while online (only) my cursor locks up for about 20 seconds or so every few
minutes. then it's back to normal...no error messages...no shut down...just
freeze.
anyone had/have this problem or know of a solution? your help is appreciated
greatly.

This not normal, your mouse drivers may have somehow become corrupted
but not likely, run your pre-installed anti-virus scanner and post back.

virus scan is run religiously...no problems there...also scan-disk and
defrag. freeze up still happens
