Can someone recommend a program that will count the number of characters in
text. Example an ad that needs to be limited to x amount of text and the
program will count the number of characters including spaces?

In what kind of files ?
For rtf, txt or doc files, Atlantis Nova can do that.

Probably many of the smaller advanced
